My Story

It all started 2 years ago, well ok my actually love story with my husband started when I was 10 but to make a long story short... 2 years ago my husband asked me to marry him. We decided we both didn't want a traditional wedding and we had already talked numerous times about eloping. So, that's just what we did. However, that "elopement" turned into a destination wedding and inviting family and friends. I reached out to a travel agent that was recommended to us, and even though she was great for booking the travel, there lacked some personal interaction when it came to the planning side. Hey, I get it she wasn't a "Wedding Planner", however, in my opinion if you are going to sell Destination Weddings you should be able to help a little with the planning side. But, maybe that's just me and my personality. When I'm asked to help I always go above and beyond for someone. My husband thinks I'm crazy for this a lot of the time but I love it! My journey is the reason why I chose to become a travel agent and specialize in Destination Weddings, Vow Renewals, Honeymoons and Proposals. I wanted to be able to take away all of the stress I had planning my destination, so my clients can focus more on the important stuff.

Deciding to add in Wedding Planning...

When I started my travel agent journey. I knew I wanted to help other bride and grooms plan their perfect destination wedding. The further I got into my own wedding planning and educational journey of becoming a travel agent specializing in destination weddings. I realized there is so much to understanding a destination wedding (and it can be A LOT). From the different cultures of every country, to the rules & regulations, what is available on the island (decorations, food, etc.) and how much it would cost to import specific items to the specific island, to the "residency" time frame before you can be legally married on the island. Not to mention the different language barriers. There are a lot of different aspects that play apart when planning a destination wedding. So, I decided to put all my new knowledge to good use and add Wedding Planning as an option to help my bride and grooms, so they can focus more on what matters, and I can do all the heavy lifting! Your big day is suppose to be filled with joy, laughter and fun, not anxiety and stress!
